Design 1: “Empowering Women Through Textiles” Created by Cindy (@Cinnew) — a Textile Student at RMIT who has been volunteering with Second Stitch for the past six months — this vibrant and heartfelt artwork captures the strength and spirit of the women who make Second Stitch what it is. Cindy also ran the print workshop for our students, sharing her skills and inspiring the next generation of makers. Design 2: Student Competition Winner — “Design 7” by Mary Grace Congratulations to Mary Grace, whose beautiful design was voted the favourite in our Student Tea Towel Design Competition! With an incredible community response, her artwork will now be printed and available for sale in our Second Stitch Shop. Now available for pre-order! Both designs will be printed and sold in-store and online, with $1 from every sale going directly to the artist — Cindy and Mary Grace — in recognition of their amazing work.
