Learn to Sew with Second Stitch Trainers

We are now offering textile workshops for anyone from beginners to advanced!

The workshops aim to help fund training and develop new initiatives that aim to support the needs of our diverse students.

With the holidays coming up, now is the time to perfect your skills, make mum the perfect Christmas gift or purchase a workshop ticket for you and a friend.

Workshops are run by our qualified trainers from our Coburg Studio beginning in Dec:

Design and make a Swimsuit or Leotard

In this two-day workshop, you will learn how to sew a 1- or 2-piece swimwear with lining using a domestic sewing machine and overlocker. A basic swimwear pattern is provided; however, you will learn how to adapt the patterns to simple adaptations.

Covering the sustainable fashions visible mending phenomenon, hemming, darning, patching, button replacement
